Story Behind All White RB16B
n honour of what would have been Honda's final home race at Suzuka in 2021, the team unveiled a striking new livery eventually used for the Turkish Grand Prix. Red Bull Racing's RB16B cars, piloted by the formidable duo of Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez, were adorned in the 'White Bull' livery in 2021.
Inspired by the iconic Honda RA 272 car, which secured the manufacturer their first Formula 1 victory in 1965 at the Mexican GP, the predominantly white design pays homage to Honda's rich history and racing heritage. The tribute livery carried heartfelt sentiments intricately woven into the design, with the addition of 'arigato,' meaning 'thank you' in Japanese, proudly displayed on the sides of the cars.
